About the CCCB

Since the year 2000 more than 200 musicians have played in the band, which normally has about 75 players. The group is about equally mixed: middle school students, high school students, active working adults and retirees. Several of the adult members are either current or former directors or have been professional musicians. Others played in college or high school bands and enjoy playing in an organized group. The band performs a mix of classical, popular, Broadway, and patriotic music.

Our Director for the 2009-2010 concert season, CWO3 Mike Laird was promoted to CWO4 and transferred to New Orleans.  Beginning this concert season we have selected as Band Director, Joe Olivieri and Assistant Band Director, Mark Pellon.
